Pohjois-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialueen Pohteen tulevaisuuslautakunta päätti kokouksessaan 27.8.2026 strategisista periaatteista palveluhankinnalle, jolla etsitään lääkäreitä toimimaan ammatinharjoittajana Pohoten sosiaali- ja terveyskeskuksissa. Tavoitteena on löytää lääkäreitä erityisesti Pohoten eteläiselle alueelle. Lääkäreiden rekrytointi ammatinharjoittajamallilla on osa hoidon jatkuvuuden kehittämistä. The North Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services Region's Pohde Strategic Committee decided on August 27, 2026, on the strategic principles for a service procurement seeking doctors to operate as practitioners in Pohde's social and health centers. The goal is to recruit doctors mainly for the southern part of Pohde. Recruitment using the practitioner model is part of developing care continuity.
