Patientnämnden i Västra Götalandsregionen har publicerat en rapport som belyser närståendes upplevelser av hälso- och sjukvården när barn i åldern 0–9 år varit patienter. Rapporten bygger på en kvalitativ analys av 112 klagomål som inkom till patientnämnden under 2025. Analysen visar att det finns återkommande mönster i vårdnadshavares berättelser, som bland annat rör upplevelser av bristande lyhördhet för deras oro, otydlig information samt utebliven eller otillräcklig uppföljning av barnets vård och fortsatta behov.-------- English Version ------------
The Patient Council in Västra Götaland region has published a report highlighting relatives' experiences of healthcare when children aged 0–9 years have been patients. The report is based on a qualitative analysis of 112 complaints received by the Patient Council in 2025. The analysis shows recurring patterns in guardians' stories, including feelings of inadequate responsiveness to their concerns, unclear information, and lack of or insufficient follow-up of the child's care and ongoing needs.-------- Link if available ----------
